The Japanese capital will become the centre of the wine and spirits world when the first Vinexpo Nippon exhibition opens its doors. On 1st and 2nd November 2014 at the Prince Park Tower Hotel in Tokyo, wines and spirits from all over the world will be on display before Japanese trade professionals in one of the most dynamic and sophisticated markets in Asia-Pacific. 
Vinexpo Nippon is a new kind of professional exhibition invented by Vinexpo to suit the specific requirements of the Japanese market. 
Japan is the second largest wine importer and leading spirits importing nation in Asia. Its economic vigour and its culture, a nexus of traditional and avant-garde tre nds, make it quite unique. Wines and spirits are popular with the Japanese and firmly anchored in the country√Ęs consumption habits. There is a vast network of 178,000 sales outlets throughout Japan, so there are many opportunities in this market, which continues to display high growth potential.  
Japanese trade professionals are showing significant interest in Vinexpo Nippon. More than 5,000 visitors are expected and amongst them will be the top Japanese sommeliers, members of the Japan Sommelier Association.
